With its striking façade, the elongated building serves as the hospital’s new landmark. At the heart of the new building is the modern emergency department, featuring a separate admission area for elective patients and a light-filled central corridor with open, welcoming waiting areas for patients and visitors.
The modern, six-story building wing, housing the new emergency room, doctors’ offices, nursing wards, and intensive care beds, spans an area of more than 6,500 m².
The interior design concept was developed in line with the existing corporate design of the Main-Kinzig Clinics. Natural-looking materials dominate the spaces and create a cozy, comfortable atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.
The extensive structural expansions and modernizations have resulted in modern and improved facilities that guarantee optimal patient care.
Details on the expansion project in the December/January 2022/23 issue of praxis objekte.
