Zurichnetgroup AG is one of the leading ICT service providers, with offices in Zurich, Pfäffikon (Canton of Schwyz), and Kriens (Canton of Lucerne).
The expansion of another location in Pfäffikon had the mandatory requirement of preserving the view of nearby Lake Zurich from all interior areas.
This was successfully achieved by the designer Trispace through the use of the Goldbach Kirchner T35 partition system with double-pane glazing and the T10 closed partition system, which integrates both technical elements and monitor mounts.
Inspired by the Living Showroom in Zurich Oerlikon, the color scheme features an appealing design in black/RAL 9011. A particular challenge was to integrate the visible technical elements on the ceiling so skillfully that they remain virtually invisible. This was solved by the well-thought-out decision to finish the entire ceiling, including the technical elements, in deep black.
Conference rooms acoustically enclosed by the T35 glass partition along the window façade can also be visually separated with curtains if necessary. The communication island adjacent to the open-plan area, equipped with a standing table, is designed for short team meetings or video conferences. Here, the technology is concealed within the solid T10 partition wall. A curtain system suspended from the ceiling also provides visual separation here when needed.
The successful result allows for an unobstructed view of the lake while also enabling an appealing interior design.
