For over 20 years, the Swiss firm Studio Archimed in Zurich has been offering both services.
Whether it’s a custom new build, a conversion, or the renovation of medical practices or centers: as experienced practice planners, the team at Studio Archimed advises, designs, and implements spaces for all medical specialties in Zurich and throughout Switzerland.
Thanks to years of experience, Studio Archimed helps optimize practice-relevant work processes and workflows to make the practice more efficient in the future. Following their holistic approach, they plan not only the premises but also their interior design. Great importance is placed on ensuring that the material and color concept, the furniture, and the decor correspond to the function and purpose of a room.
These principles were comprehensively implemented in the Unterwetzikon Medical Center shown here. The color scheme creates a pleasant atmosphere and combines the transparency of the glass partitions with privacy and discretion.
Waiting rooms and offices feature delicate partition elements in the T50 system with single-pane glazing, providing sound insulation up to 37 dB.
All examination rooms were constructed using the T35 partition system. These system partitions with double-pane glazing meet all requirements for sound insulation and privacy with 45 dB.
To create a pleasant room atmosphere, some of the patient rooms were designed with rounded partition corners. The color scheme, in addition to the black partition profiles, consistently features black trim, handles, and door tracks. The reception desks, available in both round and square designs, are contemporary in style, crafted from maritime pine with acoustic surfaces and mineral countertop finishes.
