In the control room, Goldbach Kirchner created spatial separation using the T50 partition system. The internal plant fire department was equipped with custom interior fittings.
The Uniper plant fire department was transformed into a modern, practical work environment through comprehensive interior design. This combined functional spaces with a cozy atmosphere, creating an environment that meets the specific demands of 24/7 operations.
The focus of the fire station’s renovation was on combining space-saving efficiency with comfort. Custom-made fold-out beds that integrate into the wall units provide flexible sleeping arrangements for the emergency personnel. This was complemented by custom-made furniture such as sideboards and cabinets, as well as the design and implementation of a functional communal kitchen with a dining area. The result: work and lounge areas that combine both flexibility and comfort.
In the control room, a subtle, transparent spatial division was achieved using the high-quality T50 all-glass partition system. The single-pane glazing ensures a transparent spatial structure while providing acoustic separation. The delicate appearance separates the workspaces from one another almost weightlessly.
This project once again demonstrates the strength of Goldbach Kirchner. The interior design combines technical precision with custom-tailored spatial solutions, uniting functionality, comfort, and sustainability.
