Ten consultation rooms equipped with modern digital technology are just as much a part of the facility as semi-open communication areas with a coffee bar, twelve office workstations, and an integrated self-service lobby. In addition, the new location stands out for its accessibility: the concentration of the spaces on the ground floor, automatic doors, and threshold-free transitions ensure barrier-free access.
The spaces, designed with a very minimalist approach to materials and furnishings, are divided by glass partitions and appear open and transparent.
A distinctive feature is four freestanding, rotated consultation booths, which, due to their “cubed” arrangement, deliberately break up the otherwise clean and orthogonal lines of the space.
In addition to high transparency, the glass partitions in the consultation rooms also provide the sound insulation required for their use, thereby ensuring the necessary discretion.
With the help of the cooling and ventilation system, the indoor climate can be regulated at any time as needed.
The concept was developed by Baumgardt Franke Architekten and implemented by Sobotta Objekteinrichtung Leipzig GmbH.
