SevDesk’s new corporate headquarters sets the standard for a hybrid work environment. The focus is on making work more flexible, supported by state-of-the-art technologies for teamwork, personal interaction, and individual productivity.
The concept is based on the three principles of New Work: freedom, independence, and participation. These values are reflected in the design, which incorporates the latest insights from the fields of the environment, architecture, and energy. With great attention to detail, the sevDesk think tank impressively showcases the “sevIdentity” both inside and out.
The building was designed by the architectural firm Müller + Partner and constructed by the developer Hurrle Immobilien. “We are proud to have supported sevDesk in the construction of its new headquarters. The collaboration was inspiring and successful from the very beginning,” says Thomas Ganter, partner at the Hurrle Immobilien Group.
The hybrid construction of wood and concrete impresses with sustainable solutions: 60% of the roof area is equipped with photovoltaic systems (KfW 40EE), while parts of the façade have been designed as self-watering, planted areas. The interior design also follows an ecological approach using durable, regional materials.
The first impression: a spacious, light-filled atrium with a seating staircase that serves as a meeting place and a space for celebrating shared successes. Here, a sense of community is fostered, while the upper floors offer space for focused work — whether alone or in a team.
The work areas are divided into open workspaces and quiet focus zones. Flexible desks and a variety of seating options promote creativity and productivity. In the social zones, such as the communal kitchen, the gaming corner with a bar, and the bistro, an open and inviting atmosphere is created.
The interior fit-out was completed using the Goldbach Kirchner T50 partition wall system with single-pane glazing, all-glass sliding doors, and floor-to-ceiling wooden doors with fixed top panels. Particular eye-catchers are the round windows in the meeting rooms and the custom color scheme: each of the four floors is designed in its own color palette. Wall and floor designs, along with the color-powder-coated partition profiles, create a harmonious overall look.
The new sevDesk headquarters combines sustainability, innovation, and community. It offers ideal conditions for hybrid work while strengthening the corporate culture — a model for modern work.
