Room acoustics and sound insulation

Effective reduction of reverberation times in terms of room acoustics

Sound and reverberation times are issues that have become indispensable in modern office design. Partition walls are particularly well-suited as a substrate for sound-absorbing materials in office spaces with extensive glass surfaces or concrete ceilings. However, retrofitting to improve room acoustics is also possible.

The sonic 10 acoustic element meets the requirements of modern interior design by effectively reducing reverberation times. Current sound absorption achieves an alpha value of up to 0.8 with a sound insulation rating of Rw,p 44 dB (for single-sided installation) and Rw,p 43 dB (for double-sided installation).

For use in non-combustible building components, we offer the sonic 10A system with composite testing in A2 materials.

Acoustic elements in a variety of designs

The sonic 10 acoustic element is available in a variety of designs, e.g.

  • micro-perforated,
  • slotted,
  • perforated, or
  • fabric-covered
