Fire protection approval in Switzerland

We have received fire protection approval in the fire-resistance grading EI 30 in Switzerland under the licence no. 20869/vertical glazing and no. 20870/fire doors. This approval is awarded by the Association of Cantonal Fire Insurers (VKF). This means that the Goldbach Kirchner T46 partition wall system with Pyranova S 2.0 15 mm fire-protective glazing can now be fitted into buildings with high fire protection requirements without the need for individual testing. The T46 glass partition wall can, like all of the components in our partition wall systems, be easily combined with other types of systems. A glass partition wall with a height of 4,000 mm can incorporate individual pane sizes up to 3,000 x 1,500 mm. We have also obtained approval for the new T30/EI30 wooden door leaf, which is compatible with partition walls. The open and transparent interior fittings, which are currently right on trend, can thus be realised in a flexible way using the modern glass partition wall systems. Fuchs Technology AG in Mei�enheim � A visionary building of glass and steel

When it comes to electric steelmaking, Fuchs Technology AG has a global reputation. The company has just moved into new headquarters in Mei�enheim. „Our task was to design a visionary building“, said architect J�rgen Grossmann, from the Grossmann-Group in Kehl. The aim was to express the company's creativity and self-conception, as well as its pioneering role in global technology, through the construction and design of the building. The project was a success, for, despite the 1,200 tons of concrete, steel, glass and aluminium used in the construction, it gives off the impression that gravity is of little significance to this building. Inside, a net building area of 900 square metres provides space for around 40 workstations. The circular ground floor area between the four pillars accommodates the reception desk and a glass lift. Offices and conference rooms are planned for the first floor, while the top floor is intended to be used for the management and as a meeting point. IHK Schwerin � Intelligent room solutions with high levels of soundproofing

With a statement of strength and innovation, the IHK Schwerin is presenting its new service and drop-in centre for its 23,000 member companies to the outside world. The interior is contemporary, transparent and inviting. Under the project management of Hamburg's star architect Hadi Teherani, a building complex has been created that symbolises flexibility, motivation and team spirit in equal measures. When you enter the new rooms of the Chamber of Trade and Commerce, you are met with an open structure of space utilisation and transparent insights. Bright rooms flooded with light and fitted with select materials and discreet colours are the main element of the office conception. Yet, despite all the transparency, an undisturbed and acoustically pleasant work environment stands at the heart of the spatial concept. Goldbach Kirchner partition wall systems were selected for this purpose. When it came to choosing the partition wall system, particular attention was paid to creating the highest possible soundproofing between the lobby and the office area. This was realised by incorporating the T35 partition wall system with an increased level of soundproofing. The sophisticated partition wall system ticked the box with its high transparency and double-glazing. In order to guarantee screening between the individual offices and to create storage space for office furniture, closed wall areas were incorporated within partitions. These have been covered with the sound-absorbent acoustic element sonic10 with micro-perforation. The wall elements have been optically enhanced by cutting out the micro-perforation in the areas for cables and electrics. Precise spatial planning has allowed all switches, buttons, plugs, thermostats etc. to be position in defined, closed areas. The glass partition walls are fitted flush to the closed wall areas. Meanwhile, the suspended ceiling allows the soundproofed doors to be fitted floor-to-ceiling on the corridor side, whilst upper panels have been incorporated on the office side of the doors. Be it for office areas designed for employees or management, or for meeting or conference rooms, the Goldbach Kirchner partition wall system fulfils the requirements of the project in every respect.
